It doesn't matter whether you're into design or not, Pinterest is amazing. Whether you want to categorize and remember recipes, something you want to buy, etc. - it keeps everything in one spot, and saves it by pictures which is really fun to look at. (Browsing other people's "pins" has had me wasting a lot of time recently). If you're confused, take a look at mine - it's addicting!
